The arrival of Armani, Poppy and Romeo was a joy. Adorable chocolate Labrador’s puppies owned by ZiwiPeak founders Kimberly and Peter Mitchell, who currently reside in Carmel, USA and manage the ZiwiPeak office in America. The new litter signified three generations; puppies, mother and grandmother, under one (very rowdy) roof, and made meal times a fun, hectic occasion.

Kimberly said what made meal times easy, was the fact that ZiwiPeak is suitable for all ages and life stages. From puppies, to lactating mother, to elderly grandmother; they were all feed ZiwiPeak. Peter and Kimberly never had to switch food or brands, they simply adjusted the quantity and frequency to suit their dogs and puppies needs.

From the photo above you may recognise Coco and Chanel, who have been long time ZiwiPeak ambassadors. They are fed air-dried and canned food, on alternate days and the flavour varieties are rotated frequently. They also receive raw meaty bones as a supplement meal, to keep their teeth and gums healthy, as Kimberly reminds us oral health is important.

When asked what the feeding regime has been Kimberly and Peter advised Paw Prints that at 6 weeks of age the puppies were gradually introduced to ZiwiPeak canned food, rotating the different varieties daily. Meaty bones were introduced at 7 weeks, to help strengthen the puppies’ teeth. At 10 weeks of age ZiwiPeak air-dried food was progressively added to their moist, canned food. During this time, Chanel continued to feed them right up to 14 weeks of age.

The puppies were always happy, alert, and full of energy and vitality. They all had beautiful silky, soft, thick coats and healthy skin. Their eyes were clear with no inking and their teeth strong and white with healthy pink gums. Stools were well formed, with little quantity. On a recent check-up with Romeo, the vet kept remarking how advanced his teeth were, how strong the pads on his paws were and how strong the bone structures of his legs were.

Peter and Kimberly are adamant the health of all their dogs is thanks to a Wild Prey Diet. “It’s a diet suited for their digestive system, and mirrors what they would naturally eat in the wild. We formulated ZiwiPeak to replicate our thinking and we are now happy to report we have thousands and thousands of satisfied customers around the world feeding ZiwiPeak allowing their pets to have a healthier more active life.”
